About me
I used to say I never wanted to be a writer, but I unlocked the memory of gifting all my friends a short story about their lives for my own birthday in 2004. So, this was inevitable.
I am originally from a teeny town in Georgia, USA where everyone knew my name. I spent 5 years playing trombone at football games and performing with the opera at the University of Georgia before hopping on a plane to Europe where absolutely no one knew my name. By day I am a middle school English and Music teacher. After a decade in Stockholm, I can no longer say I’m taking it a year at a time. For now, I’m here to stay.
